Cookie Policy
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They are commonly used to remember who you are between one page and the next.
2. What we use
We use only essential cookies. We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies or analytics cookies, and there is no third-party tracking on this site.
- Authentication cookies — used to keep you logged in to your account. These are session cookies set by our authentication provider (Supabase) and expire when you log out, or after a period of inactivity.
Because these cookies are strictly necessary for the service to work, your consent is not required for them under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR). That is also why you will not see a cookie banner on this site — there is nothing to consent to.
3. Local storage
Alongside cookies we store two small preferences in your browser’s local storage, so the site behaves sensibly when you come back:
- When the intro animation last played, so it does not replay every single visit.
- Which panel you last left open, so the page looks as you left it.
Both stay on your device, contain no personal data, and are never sent to us. Clearing your browser data removes them.
4. Third parties
We use a small number of service providers to run the service. They may set essential cookies of their own when you interact with them:
- Stripe — secure payment processing, and fraud prevention on the checkout.
- Supabase — authentication and data storage.
- Vercel — hosting and delivery of the website itself.
None of these are used to build a profile of you or to advertise to you.
5. Managing cookies
You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings at any time. Because the only cookies we set are the ones that keep you logged in, blocking them will stop you being able to log in to your account. Everything else on the site will work normally.
6. Contact
If you have any questions about how we use cookies, contact us at info@websies.co. This policy sits alongside our Privacy Policy.
